O-LCA (Organizational Life Cycle Assessment) is an LCA methodology that enables the calculation of the environmental impacts of all activities within an organization or company. Defined under ISO 14072, O-LCA provides a holistic view of your organization’s environmental performance and helps you identify critical environmental hotspots. In addition to mainstream indicators like the carbon footprint, O-LCA also allows for the assessment of other impact categories such as ozone depletion, acidification, eutrophication, photochemical oxidation, resource depletion, energy consumption, and water use—all within the specific context of your company’s value chain. The results of O-LCA reporting can guide your environmental strategy and strengthen your sustainability disclosures. We conduct O-LCA studies in full alignment with international standards and reveal your company’s environmental impacts across different departments, functions, and product groups.

O-LCA Process

We define relevant boundaries for your company, visit your facilities to collect accurate data, and conduct complete modeling to calculate environmental impacts. We report the study in accordance with international standards and deliver it in formats suitable for sharing with customers, investors, and other stakeholders.

01 We start with a site visit and kick-off meeting to understand your company’s activities and identify the necessary data.

02 Using the data collection form we provide, we model your organizational activities.

03 Based on the modeling results, we prepare your O-LCA report in line with international standards.

04 Along with the technical report, we also provide a summary report—upon request—formatted for communication with your stakeholders, completing the O-LCA process.
